Krishna

Sri Krishna and Radha is the relationship between God and creation, between being and matter, subject and object. One continues in the other, one is inseparable from the other, one is necessary for the other.

Krishna and Radha is also the formless God and Love itself. And Radha Krishna is the love between God and Godess. Radha was a Gopi and Krishnas eternal beloved. The difference between her and the other Gopis was only, that Radha loved him unconditionally. Radha is love itself and she lives only for God.

While in some storys at one point Krishna left the gopis and never saw them again, in other texts Krishnas and Radhas love is described as eternal.

Radha's eyes are meant to see Krishna. They looked at each other and laughed - they are the gods of love and happiness - two bodies but one heart and one soul. They laughed and everyone started laughing and dancing and the great festival began. The gods watched from the sky and dropped flowers on both of them.

Love makes us open our eyes. Only love lets us see. Love gives us sight. Only love gives us true sight.
